After a week of prepping for #Monsterdon (updating poll info options, updating collection, collating links etc)... I forgot to download the bloody film! And of course THAT is when my internet decides to go funky. (Did a speed check last night & it was spiking & crashing every second!)
I got so frustrated trying various options that I began to transform, howl at the moon & savage the local populace. But I eventually gave up, let the torrent take its sweet time & will watch it tonight.

I am the only... survivor... of my village.. people...
over the years (years omg) of hosting #monsterdon, I've heard from a lot of people that it's their little safe space. It's two hours a week where they can take a breath, laugh and connect with other people and not think about everything heavy and overwhelming in the world
Rest is not ignorance. You can't face real monsters if you're burnt out and hopeless. Sometimes, a little time with fake monsters is exactly what gives people the strength to keep going

WHY is "Hawk" the worst actor in this film? Everyone else so far is half-decent English television grade, but Hawk here is being played by Plank, apparently

Hi, I discovered that the Internet Archive has some deleted scenes from tonight's #Monsterdon movie, Starcrash (1979). I am intrigued and horrified regarding (a) what kind of scene is so bad that it gets cut from Monsterdon fare, and (b) the concept of a Monsterdon movie that has enough of a budget that they can afford to cut scenes, and are not basically compelled to put every second they shot on screen.
Anyway I intend to watch them after the main feature if anyone wants to join me.
