Currently, a display and handle "regex blocklist" feature is far more urgent than the quote post feature for the #Mastodon software—and other #Fediverse software too.
We seriously need to be able to prevent anyone from using software names—like Mastodon®—anywhere in their handle and display name, just like how we do it in the gaming industry since MUD/MUSH era in the 90s.
Wondering if Mastodon is really the right space for me. Even with 10,000 characters, my last post still felt cramped. I have so much to say, and trying to pour that into any fixed container is a challenge. Perhaps Substack suits my long-form tendencies better. Is lengthy content considered poor etiquette here? Genuinely curious what others think.

最主要的功能是它支持 Markdown。
4.3.0 后 Glitch-Soc 版本的 Docker 镜像也有 Release 版本了，以前只有 Nightly 镜像，Watchtower 自动更新经常出错。有段时间我是自己从某个固定的 Commit （对比 Mastodon 上游的 Release 的 Commit）去 Build 稳定版本。
还有一点 Glitch-Soc 版本的维护者也是 Mastodon master 的活跃贡献者。

Donc je ne sais pas comment je vais pouvoir vivre en France. Dans quelques mois je serai au RSA, et je devrai sans doute revenir vivre chez mes parents. A 46 ans. C'est ce que je me dis depuis mon réveil. Ou alors il faut que je parte vivre dans un autre pays ?

@Mastodon is changing course when it comes to how people join the platform. In late 2022, the team decided to send sign-ups directly to their server in order to make onboarding more straightforward. But that didn't align with the promise of decentralization. Here, Community Director @haubles explains the new approach to server recommendation, along with some other ways Mastodon is helping build community.

AFTER THAT SCENARIO, EVERYTHING HAPPENS SO FAST.. Eduard has a motorcycle & decided 2 go in the nearest vet which is idk how or what but I was just sobbing while Jury is wrapped in Blankets, Im partially drenched of the rain & just let fate decides. Later on I found out that Freya called the nearest ER Clinic that had a Vet ready that time which is still very early.. Eduard took us there driving the right speed 2 keep us safe while the time is very crucial. 💔
