It's early morning or early evening. The sky is an indigo blue. A small rocket takes off from a simple launchpad, blasting into the air and leaving a towering inferno on the ground. The problem is that the rocket has launched at an angle, bouncing off the support structure to the left of it before seemingly regaining its trajectory and heading for space. The support structure has two small, pale, white lights on it and is slightly faded towards the top, suggesting fog. On the side of the rocket is a single round portal, revealing a figure silhouetted in greenish light.

I can't believe it's September. Where we are in New Mexico, the feel in the air is changing. It was 48 in the morning yesterday. While Autumn is my favorite season, not sure I am ready for what comes after. But for now, I will cherish the beautiful colors of Falls. Do you have a favorite season?

This is the 2nd summer for my purple coneflowers. Last year it was about a 1/3 the size and this year is has already put on more blooms than all of last year.

Purple coneflower is a favorite of mine and a friend was kind enough to let me pull some out of his garden two years ago. That's my favorite way to garden: cheap/free and an early reward 👍.
