#Lazyweb When I want to spin up my own #Fediverse instance that supports #Markdown when composing a post and that can handle my significant amount of followers with a seamless migration from my current #Mastodon instance, which #ActivityPub Implementation would you use? Ideally it should be a simple rootless container setup that JustWorksâ„¢ with podman. Perfection would be a single, self-contained container without the need to spin up several ones for databases or other stuff.

un job jenkins créé les fichiers pdf et html grace à #pandoc et #latex et déploie les fichiers à la bonne place...
J'aimerais dire que j'ai un quelconque mérite dans le process, mais je peut juste dire que j'ai des collègues formidables !!

TIL about Djot and it's fascinating! It's like someone fixed the markdown bugs :D
Ever since moving my workflow to almost everything #PlainText it seems very revolutionary compared to 99.9% of rich text editors today. I can work in almost any application. If I dislike what Microsoft does to notepad, I can always just get another #MarkDown Or plain text editor. I don't have to contend with arduous menu structures or unintuitive keyboard commands to perform sentence formatting options. Modern web design and software design feels extremely bloated right now. It's gotten to the point where I started to feel like I needed to get the most modern processor just to run Microsoft Word and that will never be normal to me. It's always going to be a strange Feeling. My new workflow is also extremely portable. With just a few custom autohotkey scripts and a text editor, I can work almost
anywhere.
Opening #Pandoc XML files to get the placement of the Shun contact info right and yet I still find writing LUA scripts taxing. If any one of you all has a working LUA script I can steal that rounds word counts to the nearest thousand, let me steal from you! I also was super happy to discover many writers *actually* use my templates, after switching to a #Markdown writing flow. I just updated all my templates, by the way! I haven't touched the old Microsoft Word native templates in ages, but the new Pandoc templates does cool things such as automatic headers, a cover page, chapters and titles are in all caps, and all of this without you needing anything extra! https://github.com/rkingett/writertools/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
