Future updates:
The next 3 parts of the library are being worked on at the same time; the idea is that this way updates will feature fewer cosplayers each but more new sets per cosplayer.
The new content after the last deduping pass amounts to about 700 out of 900 GB (3 parts x 300 GB each); this includes:
110 new cosplayers
new sets for 347 cosplayers already featured on previous parts
6 major cosplayer updates/overhauls (30GB+)
Current status:
Last week i came across a significant number of new/updated sets so i deduped the images again for good measure. The formatting process has already started so from now on the number of new/updated cosplayers listed above will stop growing (in fact it will probably shrink slightly)
In parallel to that i'm working on creating a proper DB to better manage the library that will include things such as cosplayer aliases and a full index of all sets which should help with searchability, i'd assume that something like a sqlite file won't be particularly helpful for most people so i'll probably include the data on some type of plain text format (txt, CSV, JSON...)
