Why #Ao3 was down yesterday:

Question about #AO3 notifications:
I have several works in an unrevealed collection I set up myself. I indeed to keep them private for the time being. But it comes with the downside that I can’t download them. I know that removing a work from the unrevealed collection should trigger the notifications to my subscribers, but I’ve heard that AO3 only sends out notifs every hour or so. If I take a work out of the collection, download it and hide it again right away, which I suppose takes less than a minute in total, will the notif still be sent out?
