If you have not downloaded @Vivaldi on your computer as yet, the latest release might give you some good reasons to give it a try!
We continue to believe that you are the one best to know how you want your browser, so we keep adding flexibility and features. Different ways to do the same thing as we all have different requirements. We keep #AI out of the picture as well. You can use any online AI service you want, but we do not include it in the browser.

Flatpaks don't work on Ubuntu 25.10! 😐
The Linux project continues.
Bonus learning: you'd think older machines would struggle, but I've seen no post-install h/w issues on my 13-year-old MacBook Pro: wifi, bluetooth, ethernet, screen, touchpad, keyboard, speakers...
I suspect age is a benefit to a point, the Linux community having had more time to solve things, subverting Apple's planned obsolescence and urge to sell more regardless of environmental impact.
Here's a pic to celebrate.

Usually, I read mail using emacs+notmuch. To avoid leaving tons of messages on servers, I use the POP3 protocol: all correspondence is downloaded by a periodic task with the help of an application included in the standard package of every popular distribution — mpop. Its settings are quite simple: you can describe several mailboxes in the configuration and sort mail into folders, launching notmuch tag with regular expressions for preliminary message tagging after each session. The account password can be left in the config or stored in a keychain, from which it will be retrieved using the passwordeval directive. As a result, I can process mail completely asynchronously offline.
Today, I discovered a real gift for myself: among Rust crates, there is one very suitable for my refined mail handling algorithm — mop3. This is a server responding to mail client (MUA) requests via the POP3 protocol and converting them into API queries to a Mastodon instance. Thus, I can receive posts from all authors I follow as email messages. It’s much cooler than using Emacs modules for Mastodon or TUI tools like toot, tut, etc.

Windows 10 refugees flock to Linux in what devs call their "biggest launch ever"
I suppose I should post something introductory now that I'm on my own instance.
I'm a Linux lady who used to work in COBOL development and assorted legacy systems management gigs.
Nowadays I make videos and occasional blog posts about Linux and vintage/retro tech. Entirely supported by viewers like you (no sponsors as of writing). Links in bio.

FLOSS #MaintainerLife public service advisory:
If you're filing a potential bug upstream in #GNOME, particularly on rapidly-improving apps like GNOME Calendar, please test the latest version, unmodified by third-parties. #Flatpak helps.
Don't come at me with a 4-years-old version cowboy-patched against our will by #Linux distros like Mint; I will send you downstream, like this: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-calendar/-/issues/1526#note_2640160
