In support of my deep dive into #notetaking apps, I opened a #Nextcloud account with thegood.cloud to see if I can sync from #QOwnNotes and #Iotas

I'm now using the #Nextcloud and Nextcloud Notes #Android apps to write, edit and share notes with the #Iotas notetaking app on my Linux desktop. So far, so good.
Two posts on the #Iotas #notetaking app, #Nextcloud Notes and syncing the two:

I find myself doing a lot of writing in #Nextcloud Notes. The interface looks nice and is responsive, and everything is synced to my local filesystem with Nextcloud Desktop Sync. And now that I have nextcloudcmd on my new Debian console-only laptop, I can work on the files from there too.
I can work on "notes" (anything with .md) on the local filesystem, in any app that can access those files, or in the GNOME Circle notes app #Iotas, which uses a SQLite database but offers first-class Nextcloud sync.
