Corporations will not stand up to fascism. They are engines to create profit for shareholders so protecting profit is their only guiding principle. They will bend to the felon-in-chief rather than face costly repercussions from a petty tyrant who wields unconstitutional power without any oversight.

"...The company also monitored nursing homes that had smaller numbers of patients with “do not resuscitate” – or DNR – and “do not intubate” orders in their files. Without such orders, patients are in line for certain life-saving treatments that might lead to costly hospital stays.
Two current and three former UnitedHealth nurse practitioners told the Guardian that UnitedHealth managers pressed nurse practitioners to persuade Medicare Advantage members to change their “code status” to DNR even when patients had clearly expressed a desire that all available treatments be used to keep them alive...."
Kroger is shuttering stores temporarily to pressure union to concede. Their offer is below the poverty levels set by the state! Their CEO took $15.4M home last year (450 times their average employee) and the company announced 7.5B in stock buybacks!! But now they cry poor, and want to stiff the workers.
