finished playing Luigi's Mansion ๐๐๐๐๐
This game is the perfect mix of a unique idea and complete "jank" in terms of gameplay. I always wanted this game as a child though never came across it or anyone who owned it in their #Gamecube collection. Though even now completing it for the first time 20 some years later it is still a lot of fun in what it offer even if some of the room puzzle are just obtuse even with reading everything in game. You can tell they really wanted to hide how short this game is. Even with all that said I wish more games would have unique gameplay experiences like this one. I played the PAL version with a 60FPS patch so I still have the Hidden Mansion mode to come back to later. Though after getting all 50 Boos and beating the (rough) final boss I can say I have my fill of this game at the moment. Even though it is mission based I am curious what the second game offers will probably give it a fair shake once #3DS every gets #RetroAchievements.

finished playing Metroid Prime ๐๐๐๐๐
So actually finished this game at 54%, I see a universe where I give this game another go down the road and go for 100%. I get it now it is a very good game especially for a 2002 #GameCube game. I always heard about #Metroid Prime, #Halo, & #HalfLIfe as the 3 major FPS of the early 2000s and I played all of them around time of release except for Prime. Which is funny because I had tons of chances to play it I just would bounce off in the first 10 minutes. Though now I would argue out of all 3 of those games previously mentioned Prime is the one I would say holds up the most and the most fun to come back to (booty controls aside which the Switch port fixes).
started playing Luigi's Mansion
Need something to hold me over for a couple days so might as well keep this #GameCube train rolling with another game I have played the first hour of and dropped.
A(nimal Cros)SCII: mapping the character encoding for Animal Crossing GC town, player, and passwords to Unicode characters.
I'm collecting all 242 unique treasures in #Pikmin 2 across the three regions (US, JP, and PAL). I've created this web page which automatically updates as I collect more treasures while playing on real #GameCube hardware.
