Even if you regain control of your account, it is highly unlikely you can contact every single instance to unblock you. If you just live with it, your reach will also be much smaller which can make your fediverse experience really bad.</p><p>Just create a new account and activate 2FA (two-factor authentication) to protect your account. And don&#x27;t click any suspicious links, especially those telling you that you need to verify your account. Please A.S.K. first.</p>

<p>Today, we&#x27;re beginning to federate a selection of publishers based in Germany and the U.K. We&#x27;ve also introduced <span class="h-card"><a href="https://flipboard.social/@FlipboardDE" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>FlipboardDE</span></a></span>, a new profile for the Mastodon community in Germany. In the first test, we are partnering with 21 publishers to federate their profiles and Magazines. Follow the profile to see all the stories they are posting on Flipboard, or topically curated Magazines to get coverage on specific areas of interest.
