When it comes to their art collections, I always end up choosing their XXL versions. Expensive? Yes. <p>I&#x27;ve finished: Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse </p><p>Black Sun was a fun read, I turned to it at every listening opportunity. </p><p>The world, the magic, the amazing animals. </p><p>The only thing that troubled me was the naivete of the characters. They feel like a bunch of teens with no notion of the dangerous world they live in. I loved spending time with them, but there was almost always a dissonance between the way they talked and thought and the reality they grew up in. </p><p>The only exception was Serapio, who is both competent and aware of the world he inhabits.</p><p>He is also one of the best portrayals of a blind character I&#x27;ve ever read. Despite his magical powers that let him see sometimes and perform outlandish feats.
