French President Emmanuel Macron nominates Michel Barnier as the country’s new prime minister.
@euronews reports: "A loyal veteran of the recently renamed right-wing Republican Right party (LR), Barnier has had a long political career in France and the EU, having served twice as European Commissioner and, between 2016 and 2021, the chief EU negotiator for Brexit."
So Canada's exports actually went up by 1% despite a 16% drop in exports to the US.
That means that missing 17% of our exports all went to our friends, mostly in Europe.
