Melbourne Docklands part two: The bad. Nearly a quarter of a century into this urban renewal project, and many parts of it leave a lot to be desired...

The Docklands ferris wheel visible behind a building at the far end of a neighbourhood park.

A large open-air car park with cranes in the distance.

A grassy area strewn with rubbish. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a park or a future development site?

An empty tree-lined street with one car and no pedestrians.

An empty shopfront with a yellow for lease sign. The awning still reads "Festival Foods".
