just curious, wondering why did activitypub use json and not something more closer to html (such as xml)?

Hey fedi, should I be using Mastodon instead of other instances? The reason that I ask is because of this: (queue image)
Not being able to see all of someone’s posts isn’t ideal, plus it seems like Mastodon is largely the most used(?)
