It was so nice today so I made a little tour to south Boston / Dorchester water front
The ship is so big that I thought it was a big green wall there at first lol

Ok #Boston - I need a vacation. What's your favorite relaxing long weekend getaway for November-December (but not holiday travel)?
The Big Dig was traumatic, and #Boston still has kind of a public works hangover, but it really was that hard. I remember during its second decade a friend in San Francisco asking, "What's up with that?!?" I explained by asking her to imagine that 101 was converted into a tunnel, running under its current route the whole way it runs through the city, avoiding other tunnels, WITHOUT CLOSING 101. She looked blank and said, "You couldn't do that."
Set an alarm and got up early to go out for a ride, enjoying one of the last warm nice days in Boston this year. And I was rewarded with this beautiful vibrant red maple along Neponset river in the morning glow! That almost made the suffering climbing up Blue Hill TWICE less sufferable...

Taking the T today to see whether the shutdown to fix tracks actually works
Especially the slow zones between south station and Andrew, which drove me nuts every time
#LowExpectation though 😅
Warm and sunny day means bike wash day!

I am looking for a live-in #caretaker for my sister. She is autistic and nonverbal, but ambulatory and can perform basic functions on her own. However, she can't take care of herself--cook, clean, etc--and needs prompts for numerous things.
The position would be in a #Massachusetts suburb adjacent to #boston The salary is funded by a few programs; the bigger benefit might be free rent, given the cost of living in MA. She is in a day program during the week.
