<p>I was at a local school board challenging book bans and someone made the argument that, so would you let a racist/homophobic/bigoted work into the classroom?</p><p>Keep in mind every book that was being challenged was an author of color, or an LGBT plus author, or an author that writes young adult romances or other challenging but necessary works.</p><p>I said without hesitation, yes.</p><p>I’ve said it before and I will say it again. I am in no way in favor of banning any kind of literature. Even if you think you’re doing it for the right reason, you are not.</p><p>The thing about me is that I personally read every hateful and or bigoted novel I can get my hands on. <p>The first Science of Discworld book gets 4/5 stars... I think, wait let me check my math.The Science parts got 3 and the Wizard parts got 5 so if you add 'em up carry the 1, always carry the one, divide by two you get 4...
