There are ways that would benefit humanity drastically with improving AI but the goals are wrong
We need to create cures against a LOT of diseases, support people with disabilities, find a better way to combat poverty, solve complicated equations and on and on..
At it's current form it's eating and hogging resources doing things humans want to do
They made me hate it

One of my favorite audiobook publishers, Podium Audio, hinted at over and over and over again, that they would love to eventually get into the AI narration space and I don’t have any words of anger anymore. A more positive #blog today. I did a #review of Pluto, an excellent short anime about robots. At a time when all we hear is how AI will either drown us in slop, or take over the world (or both), it's quite nice to engage with an #anime that takes a more old-fashioned approach to robots, while still exploring some fundamental philosophical themes.
It's eight emotionally gut-punching episodes, and I'd certainly recommend it.
