Now she doesn't have a choice. To retrieve Erika's Heart Flower, she has to transform into a Pretty Cure and fight. Working up the courage, Tsubomi turns into Cure Blossom and a new chapter of Pretty Cure begins!

ヒロモト森一と韮沢靖がコラボレートした同名コミックをアニメーション制作会社のマッドハウスが映画化。監督は、「スレイヤーズごうじゃす」の作画監督の山川吉樹。元気が取り柄の少女・天鐘りんねは猫を助けた際の不慮の事故により、地獄の学校“三途ノ川学園”に転校することに。学園長ヘルヴィスに自分が死亡したと伝えられるりんねだが、元の世界に戻る方法を模索しながら落ちこぼれのクラスメイトたちと徐々に仲良くなっていく。

龙子之七十年代动画原作《科学忍者队》（台译《科学小飞侠》）的1994年重制的全3话OVA，梅津泰臣负责人设以及作画监督。
従来のイメージを残しつつ、メカ、キャラクターデザインを一新している。キャストも総裁X役の田中を除いて一新された。総裁Xの映像にはCGが使われている。
