a review of 异次元骇客

The Thirteenth Floor could be described as a long episode of the Black Mirror series, with a story that is a blend between The Matrix and Dark City, although making a comparison to those sci-fi classics would be too much honor for The Thirteenth Floor, as it tries too hard to be some kind of epic, romantic adventure, and suffers from performers who lack true charisma. The featured 1930s set designs were a sight to see though, and the subject matter does offer some interesting food for thought, with the AI revolution around the corner.
