finished listening The Unkillable Soldier 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
As cheesy as it gets, and as usual for #Sabaton songs, #TheUnkillableSoldier is a good introduction to history passages not talked as much, also having an accompanying Sabaton History video for more context.

If I am to find a complaint, de Wiart was an excessive character, so the music feels toned down. e.e"

finished playing FINAL FANTASY 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
Played the #Switch version of #FFI.

Pretty fun game overall.

Allows switching to the rearranged OST which is far more pleasant to the ears. Graphics are kinda standardized with the other games from the collection so they don't stand out.

Story is pretty simple, but for progression, the game seems to expect the player to be taking notes frequently, as directions are almost aways given by hints on the NPCs' dialogues. Feels like the game respects the player's intelligence.

Gameplay can be grindy, but it can be mitigated by the boosters of this remaster, equipments that can be used as items to cast spells without being consumed or consuming MP, etc. Still, going for the rarer enemies can be a bit of a pain but it isn't mandatory.

Recommended. 👌

Also some tips:

Top character tends to be hit more by enemies, second a bit less, third even less, and far more rarely the last character. I'd guess it's a basic and linear if() check, done one character at a time. But this means putting the tankier characters on top and the squishier ones on the bottom helps on survivability tremendously.

And there isn't much of a "correct" party, so pick what you think that could work. Or fill the party with Warriors or some other silly combination and have fun. e.e"

finished playing Bladed Fury 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
Played the Steam version of #BladedFury.

Seen some times this game being compared to Vanillaware's Muramasa - The Demon Blade. Dunno how it differentiates from the version I played, Muramasa Rebirth, but my thoughts on Bladed Fury comparing to Muramasa Rebirth specifically:

- Explorarion is a bit more platforming-oriented on Bladed Fury than on Muramasa
- Bosses in Muramasa are so overused that I had to give up on the game out of boredom; meanwhile, in Bladed Fury, repeated bosses are kept to a minimum
- Combat in Bladed Fury is a tad slower than Muramasa's but still sufficiently fast-paced
- The plot is far more consistent, focused and well-thought

Expanding the comparison scope to the other Vanillaware games I finished, Dragon's Crown, Odin Sphere and GrimGrimoire, it feels as one of the most Vanillaware-like games out I've seen. Story's told in a similar theater-like manner, scenery art gives the positive illusion (narratively speaking) of the world being much bigger, OST is great for ambience, and the characters and enemies' art style is pretty unique, even if borrowing from Vanillaware's general style.

Tip no.1:
Enemies generally don't respawn, but in some some circumstances they still do, if you want to farm experience. Possibly an incomplete list, but I've found some spots early on and mentioned on the Steam forum at https://steamcommunity.com/app/927250/discussions/0/2673381715698927726/#c796712960596642371

Tip no.2:
Steam version appears to be DRM-tied. Google Play does not: https://thebrainbin.org/m/auster_info_dumps/p/632443

finished listening Hollow Knight: Silksong (OST Sample) 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
Very small sampler, only 2 songs long, but having completed the game, in my opinion, it gives a good idea of what type of musics to expect from the game without giving away too much.

finished watching Uncanny Alley 02 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗
A continuation of Uncanny Alley 01, and despite being a sequel, and one that feels more conclusive, it keeps the unsettling, disturbing and cryptic tone.

finished watching Uncanny Alley 03 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑
If it had ended at the previous episode, it would have been good, given the conclusive sense of the previous one.

This one feels detached in tone and continuity, seemingly not building on what's previously shown, and going far more into the grotesque than the previous two shorts, with a touch of light jumpscares, while neither of the other two shorts needed jumpscares for their horror.

Also, who is the creature is implied only in the making of the author posted in his personal channel.

Feels like there was a 3-episodes contract with Adult Swim and mr. Goulão didn't know how to proceed after Uncanny Alley 02.

It would work alone, but being part of a series with an implied continuity and set tone, the grade plummets for me.

Unsettling, disturbing and cryptic. Pretty good as a short psychological horror, and works well by itself.
