Absolute chaos. After my scoop about the upcoming launch of a Trump Wallet by Magic Eden, in cooperation with the $TRUMP memecoin team, Magic Eden pushed out their announcement. Both Eric and Don Jr then repudiated the project, stating they had no prior knowledge.
The Air Force revealed earlier this year that a general who oversaw its lobbying before Congress had inappropriate relationships with five women.
Sources say one of the women whose relationship with him was scrutinized was Sen. Joni Ernst.

Yes, you read that correctly: Congress is about to put the claims of stablecoin investors ahead of ma and pa's bank deposits. That's just stunning. Now ma-and-pa's deposits are FDIC insured, so they'll be alright, but it means the FDIC's Deposit Insurance Fund is footing the bill. In other words, the GENIUS Act is subsidizing stablecoin issuance on the back of bank deposits. By subordinating the FDIC's subrogation claim in a bank insolvency to the claims of stablecoin investors, the GENIUS Act is effectively letting FDIC insurance leak out to cover uninsured stablecoins, without any insurance premiums paid.”

Karine Jean-Pierre, who was Joe Biden's White House press secretary, has written a book, "Independent," and has left the Democratic Party, her publisher says. According to @CBSNews, the book, due to be published in October, covers the three weeks that led to Biden abandoning his bid for a second term, "and the betrayal by the Democratic Party that led to his decision." Jean-Pierre, who is now an Independent, said in a statement, "I determined that the danger we face as a country requires freeing ourselves of boxes. We need to be willing to exercise the ability to think creatively and plan strategically. We need to be clear-eyed and questioning, rather than blindly loyal and obedient as we may have been in the past."

Target has seen plummeting share prices and decreased footfall after consumers started to boycott the chain because of its backdown on diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Now, the church leader who has spearheaded the boycott has a new target: Dollar General. Jamal-Harrison Bryant, senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest, Georgia, says the low-cost chain has both rolled back its DEI initiatives and failed to invest in the Black and low-income communities that are the backbone of its customer base. This time, he's not calling for all customers to stay away from Dollar General, since because of the lack of infrastructure in rural communities it's sometimes the only place people can shop for certain items. Instead, he's proposing an electronic protest: Clog up phone lines and inboxes, and post on social media to pressure the company into reinstating its programs — and boycott the store if you can.
