I'm seeing ridiculous posts today about Trump once again mentioned in the Epstein Files. We know he's in them. This is not news. This in no way changes the current circumstances surrounding how this is going to go down so I have a response.

The release of the Epstein files in their entirety* will be determined by the Senate. The same Senate that just threw us under the Bus.

The first step, whether it advances or not, will be determined by the republicans up for re-election in the House. If their constituents scream loudly enough then the votes will carry the Bill to the Senate.

Guess what happens there?

Oh and this will not be concluded before everybody goes on year end break. IF everything goes perfectly, we will not see any files until next year.

Democrats have no power here. I'm going to need you to understand this after what just happened. Manage your expectations. This ball is 100% in the GOP's court.

Apologies for the reality check. It does not mean everyone should stop screaming to RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.

Here's the thing about the pet eating story. Yes, it's bonkers. It's ridiculous. But it's also classic racist propaganda. It's painting the people you want to scapegoat as something so evil, so alien, that nothing you do to them is too cruel or extreme. "They took our jobs" is meant to drive votes.
