For anyone here who doesn't know-
They don't make your country money. They are designed to stop a country from trading with you, and go somewhere else, either as a consequence, or because they are overwhelming your own local market that you wish to maintain.
They COST the imposing country money.

#Trump said Friday that he’s immediately suspending #trade talks with #Canada over its plans to continue with its tax on #technology firms, which he called “a direct & blatant attack on our country.”
Trump wrote on Truth Social that the Canadians had just informed the #US it would stick to its plan to impose the tax set to take effect Monday.
