"approved" and safe Eclipse filters are starting to get harder to get delivered by the eclipse date (esp if you want to do some testing ahead of time). On 12 August, the International Space Orchestra will perform in San Francisco at the California Academy of Sciences alongside live eclipse footage from the path of totality in Europe. For non-locals, the entire event will be livestreamed starting at 10:30 am PDT.

What an amazing #SolarEclipse we witnessed this week! I photographed it from Peñafiel in the north of #Spain, home to a beautiful castle that provided the perfect foreground for the spectacular #eclipse. No picture can do it justice though: there's no substitute to actually seeing a total eclipse in person.
