Snails on the bicycle path. My cheap clip-on macro lens makes a cool fishbowl effect with the spiral ramp, and the spiral of the ramp echoes the spirals of the snails.

Snails on my way to work today. Maybe on their way to work too? I helped them along to the other side.

tiny snail on pink buttercup

A very pink translucent buttercup after the rain. A tiny snail is snailing* inside it, moving towards the edge of the petal. Really tiny, no more than 2mm in diameter. It is the moment I first saw it. Later I watched it having a short interaction with an ant, sliding around, feeling the world. Before leaving my parents' house I went out again and I saw it was back inside, sleeping in the heart of the flower. Tired little one.

Same snail, same flower, side view of the outer side. The little one is out.
Does it look like a pink butterfly with a spot? It does. There's a very long and green bud in front of it and blurry plants in the background.

Fingers for scale. Also because the day was not just rainy, it was windy. I am holding as softly as I can the flower. A pink petal with red veins that come out of a yellow heart. The minisnail is there, I don't know if it could sense my presence and my interference with its chosen home.
