Finished the third and most recent of <a href="/tags/adriantchaikovsky/" rel="tag">#AdrianTchaikovsky</a> 's Children of Time series - but the fourth is coming in a couple of months (<a href="https://www.panmacmillan.com/authors/adrian-tchaikovsky/children-of-strife/9781035057788" rel="nofollow" class="ellipsis" title="www.panmacmillan.com/authors/adrian-tchaikovsky/children-of-strife/9781035057788">https://www.panmacmillan.com/authors/adrian-tchaikovsky/children-of-strife/9781035057788</a>)! This one really worked for me, with its blend of hard lives on an inadequately terraformed planet with surreal and brain-bending temporal inconsistencies and fairytale elements.
