I'm wondering if there is a way to set up an rss feed for Wordpress pages.

I want to keep writing and posting essays now that I've got some momentum going, and I'm realizing I may have made a 'mistake' making my essays pages and my book announcements posts. Makes it harder for folks to follow my essays and such.

But I am... resistant to 'just' re-pubishing the essays as posts. I don't want to have a blog. A blog feels like expectation and pressure and schedules and....

I want to just write what feels right, when it feels right.

But I also want people to be able to follow my writing somehow easier than checking the website for updates whenever they remember too.

People complain about #substack, but one advantage it has over #beehiiv is that it provides #RSS feeds for every #blog, whereas beehiiv does not.

I need more good writers and blogs to follow in my #RSS. Ideally, I would always be able to find an interesting 10-15 minute read in the gathered material of the last few hours. At the moment, more like one every couple days.

@WarnerCrocker usually provides a reading list on Sunday mornings which is always good for an article or two, and this is not so much to complain about him taking a week off, as to express my appreciation for the work and to note that it's missed.

Due to brokeness even my @winnipegfreepress sub is currently on pause.

Please send links to blogs by people who are Very Good Writers. People who could discourse on the finer points of SQL database design and still be an inherently enjoyable read. I don't even care about topics, I just want more periodical writing by people for whom the words themselves are a joy, and it shows in the reading.

There's a good reason why I rarely visit websites I follow via RSS, and, instead, choose to read in my RSS reader. While the rest of the #IndieWeb are today saying RSS readers are flawed because they strip out the amazing web design by default, I am here to protest and say, actually, every RSS app that does this is doing you and I a massive favor.

Your web design is certainly not worth putting up with if I dislike it the first time.

If I wanted to appreciate your web design, I wouldn't use an RSS reader.

I was banned by this blog owner in a Facebook group because I think they thought I was promoting the use of AI when I was requesting RSS. I said I loved their website, their dedication, the effort, and all the good things. I did mention that I wanted to subscribe to the website via RSS. The RSS feed was/is broken for me at this time. I explained why I didn’t want to follow via email because I only use email for communication and I use RSS to keep up with the websites that I enjoy. I was called a Tech Bro. I read the rules very carefully before I posted what I did. I am very confident I did not break any rules. Shrug. I fully get it. Is there a Fedi service that aggregate all the links posted from my followers into one RSS feed that I can subscribe to for the times that I don’t log onto the Fediverse? I did find mastodon to RSS but that uses an algorithm to only show the links that are most clicked, and I want a service that shares every link that my followers post even if no one clicks on it.

I am not looking to self host. I’m looking for a fully managed service.
