They were filming a movie today in the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, California! Or it could be a car commercial? I wonder how many movies have been filmed out there? Probably 500-600, I'd bet.

Packing up to leave for Virginia tomorrow. My brother’s sticker-covered cooler is the first thing going in the car — a small piece of him coming home with me, though I wish it were under different circumstances.

Whenever I am driving to or from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, it’s mandatory for me to go to one (sometimes both!) of the bridge view parks. On our way south today, I stopped at the park near Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse in the Lower Peninsula.

I want to do EV road trip from Boston to Halifax Nova Scotia and the only leg of the trip that concerns me a bit is from Gardiner Maine to this border town Woodstock in Canada. The pic only showing 100+kw charging stations. It’s a bit over 200 miles.

If I do a deep charge at Gardiner I should be able to make it.

It seems like charging isn’t the limiting factor of how fast we could travel on a road trip - it’s my bladder 🫠 and the slow service of Dunkin’ in Maine…
