I just heard someone refer to Project Hail Mary, by Andy Weir, as "hope punk". I really like that.
Latest #blog is on #ProjectHailMary . It took me about a week to write because that thing happened where I really liked the movie in the theatre, yet when thinking about it afterwards I had more and more issues with it.
Anyway, I still liked it, but you do have to be willing to engage with it to enjoy it.
Plus, it's just time to move away from stories about a single white man coming to save us.
