Chatting with a couple of friends who live in #Portland to see how they’re doing in their horrific war-ravaged lands.
It sounds like something out of a nightmare.
There are bookstores everywhere and buskers playing music and there’s art and music and lots of greenery and weed is legal.

Two middle-aged white people tried to drive through the crowd. One of the protesters was hit. Not badly, but hit all the same.

US gestapo has already unleashed teargas, smoke grenades and pepper bullets at protesters outside the ICE field office in Portland, OR. At least 3 people got brutally assaulted and arrested by federal agents. Each of them with multiple feds on them and brought down to the ground. They are being especially violent right now this is horrifying.
Of note are the Gestapo supporting fascists who are also standing in front of the building with signs- they were untouched, of course.
People were just standing and chanting with signs getting grabbed and taken down, others with bear mace straight to the face from hardly an inch away.

The antifascist frog, alongside Freedom Chicken, regularly protests outside the #ICE facility in #Portland #Oregon. Obviously, nobody wears a costume like that to do any violence; it's to ridicule the Nazis and amuse your own side, as I've learned.
A few days ago I saw a video in which a Nazi #DHS agent sprayed pepper spray into the air hole of the frog costume, in an effort to cause serious harm to an obviously nonviolent protester.
The frog is back at the facility like nothing happened.
Ignoring a court ruling, #Trump is sending 300 #California #NationalGuard members to #Oregon after a judge blocked the admin from deploying that state’s guard to #Portland, acc/to CA Gov #GavinNewsom.
Newsom pledged Sunday to fight the move in court.
