Rosie and Michael by Judith Viorst and Lorna Tomei (Illustrations) (1974) is a picture book celebration of a solid, life-long relationship. Rosie and Michael take turns in this book explaining the hows and whys of their friendship. Each of their examples are then illustrated in intricate pen and ink drawings.
