Met this badger last night, zooming past me on the walkway where I just passed. They were moving right to left, but thankfully decided to come back and take a quick sniff while I brought out the phone camera before continuing along. I wonder what I'll see tonight, soon time for my late night walk.

My reading in recent months has been trains and badgers. This is Thaddeus Badger from Unsettling Salad! by Aaron Reynolds and Peter Brown (Illustrator). It just released.
Bon matin !
