I am exposing Pica‘s dark secret. Many people think because she has big eyes and a small button nose she also has a “cute little mouth.” This is a lie. Pica‘s mouth goes all the way back to the corners of her head, practically to her ears and she can hinge her head open like a hamburger.

Removing Pica from the new cat bed each time she got in it just after setting it up? And both of us saying "oh no she can't sleep on the THAT bed"

#PicaTheCat is so strange.
Bring home food, take out. She doesn't seem to notice. I assume she can smell it but she's not upset.
But when HER people put that food on their plates and sit down to eat? Uh oh. Now it's a problem. Where is the food to go on Pica's plate?
She doesn't really like people food much. She just thinks if you are eating... well? She should get to eat too.
And why not?

For Immediate Release: #Pica, the small tabby cat, categorically denies allegations that she “got so excited by the birds in the bird feeder that she bumped her head on the window” In fact it was her hapless human staff who were confused by the concept of transparency and who made the comical “bonk” noise recently heard in the south bronx apartment.

When #PicaTheCat goes out on our roof deck she likes to hop into the planter which is overgrown with grass and hide there as if she were going to ambush some little creature.
It makes me feel like I deprive her of nature. Poor cat... but then I remember about how much she hates nature if it causes even the smallest discomfort. She hates rain, snow, the cold, the heat, big animals, everything.
A planter on the roof of a building on a warm spring day is perfect for her.

#Picathecat on her back, her head hanging over the edge of the couch... and then a strange meow.
Writhes and dangles over the edge more. Suddenly, from that angle she sees *birds* horrible birds! (At the bird feeder in the window.)
Whiskers twitch.
In defiance of all logic and laws of physics she launches herself in a backwards arc landing next to the couch on her four little soft paws now facing the "horrible birds" (during this her head was stationary like a door hinge) she's remarkable.

#picaTheCat is so disgusting. She actually *likes* it when her frozen meat meals aren't fully thawed on a hot day.
She's enjoying a meatcicle right now next to me. How do I live this way?
I can pick up our cat, Pica without a problem but she has always fought with my husband. Just squirming so much. We've found out why.
She's a right handed cat. My husband is left handed. If you try to hold her on your left shoulder she's used to it, but try to hold her on your right shoulder? She freaks out.
I tried to pick her up "left handed" and suddenly had the same problems as my husband.
So if you have this issue, try switching.
He can now pick her up.
