This photo is an autumn scene that was taken along an accessible hiking trail in a wooded area. The trail is about six feet wide and is mostly covered with fallen leaves. It curves slightly to the left and slightly uphill around a small grouping of very mature trees. About thirty percent of the leaves are still on these trees, displaying a vibrant orangish colour amidst the branches. This photo definitely has an autumn vibe associated with it.

Found this beautiful purple dahlia on my morning walk today, the petals delicately covered with glistening dew drops. The partially illuminated petals against a dark background highlighted their intricate details and elegance from a unique perspective.

An old Gothic crypt, lost and forgotten in the forest of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The vaulted ceiling is tall and arched with strong ribs in classic Gothic style. Long vines hang down from the ceiling, having worked their way down through the roof. The beautiful red and black floor tiles caught my eye as I walked in!
