I'm using #phanpy installed as a #firefox #pwa to access #mastodonSocial on an #android phone. Few days ago my system bar turned teal. Whodunit?!
Desde hace un par de días, @phanpy hace que las barras superior e inferior se muestren con esos colores en Android 14, utilizándolo como aplicación progresiva (pwa) en Firefox, cuando hasta ahora,vdichas barras, respetaban el tema negro elegido. ¿Algún fallo en la interface, que hace que Android las muestre así, @cheeaun?.
He probado con otros teléfonos con Android 12 y Android 11 y ocurre lo mismo. 🤔

There's this feature in @phanpy called "Catch Up". Sign in using your existing Mastodon account and select a period of time to see a Dashboard of all the posts from that period with a whole load of sorting and filtering abilities.

So #Phanpy is is suddenly pretending I haven't logged out of the account I closed the server for a few weeks ago.
And because it is confused it wont let me log out of that account :(
So, I hit some key combo that caused #Phanpy to censor all content, text and images. Couldn't easily figure out how to fix it, but clearing phanpy.social cookies did it.
What did I do?
It was a good day.
TIL that via @phanpy you can browse local timelines... so I can do my 10 minutes of daily cheerleading for people / orgs on theforkiverse.com and reseauculture.fr (making them feel seen and valued on here) 💁♀️
I already thought #Phanpy was amazing, but my love for it keeps growing day by day.

#phanpy I just muted this account for a week. Is it OK, that a toot that was still in my feed appears as DELETED and as FILTERED or something else?
Pervasive alt text is great, it helps include everyone. As it happens, I don't need the alt text. Is there a way in #Phanpy to not display it when I click into an image? Often the overlay obscures part of the image so I have to click the alt to expand it then dismiss it to see everythin.

can you pls help me understand this confusing behaviour in my Notifications timeline?
at some parts of the day, typically soon after beginning browsing in the mornings, the access in that column to Mentions is a nice convenient checkbox, which when selected uses the same column but displays only the mentions in it... ALL my other timelines to left & right remain visible.
however, from later in the mornings, that behaviour entirely changes, to a much poorer UI; see pic. the previously convenient mentions checkbox is now only a link, which opens an overlay on top of the whole multi-column view, from which i need to use the browser navigation buttons to get back to my normal view. this is quite unpleasant to use, compared to the elegant simplicity of the "earlier" behaviour.
why does this happen, & how can it be stopped? thx.

I have realized that #Phandroid so far used the wrong upstream-branch.
I have used this finding to change the way releases are handled.
There are now 2 release channels:
1. Manually tested standard releases (Phandroid, using the stable production-branch of #Phanpy)
2. fully automatic dev-Releases (Phandroid Dev, main-branch)
If you do nothing, the setup will continue to provide you with stable releases, just less frequently.
Optionally you can install Dev (side-by-side, dedicated settings).
#phanpy doesn't seem to respect content warnings. It shows both the cw and the post by default, unless there is a setting I'm missing/can't see.
