Is there a way to make the #mastodon video player always start in mute? Does it depend on the client? Would #phanpy do it?

I didn't know #Phanpy has an algo... I mean a special feed to find stuff you may have missed while not online. It's called Catch-up.

@cheeaun I had the impression that #phanpy always showed the ALT texts. Now they seem to be gone. If you ever bring them back, do you think you could make it so it shows the full ALT text? I seem to remember it only showed the first line.

I think Phanpy probably has the best UX/UI when it comes to image posting, it's simple, everything is at your fingertips without having to click fifteen times everywhere.

Ce petit bout d'interface est vraiment génial sur Phanpy. En gros, il apparaît sur tous les pouets où l'auteur ou l'autrice a répondu directement à son propre pouet, ou est la réponse à un de ses propres pouets, créant de facto un thread/fil.

Comme ça, on comprend tout de suite que soit il faut « ouvrir » le pouet pour voir la suite, soit qu'on peut comprendre le contexte avec ce qui a été publié avant.

J'aimerais vraiment voir apparaitre ça sur toutes les interfaces

Desde hace un par de días, @phanpy hace que las barras superior e inferior se muestren con esos colores en Android 14, utilizándolo como aplicación progresiva (pwa) en Firefox, cuando hasta ahora,vdichas barras, respetaban el tema negro elegido. ¿Algún fallo en la interface, que hace que Android las muestre así, @cheeaun?.

He probado con otros teléfonos con Android 12 y Android 11 y ocurre lo mismo. 🤔

cons:

missing delete and redraft
multi account: just two accounts?
can't turn off boosts carousel

pros:

switch to origin instance (wish for better non-mastodon support)
grouped boosts&likes
threads design
quote posts
visual cues for hashtags
custom tabs/menu
