I'm sat at Terminal E at Boston Logan awaiting my flight back to Edinburgh. Watching the plane get loaded with luggage and meal trolleys and fuel... The plane has been sitting there for hours. I felt an impatience about how long it takes to prepare for the journey...
But then considered that all of this must be so much less than what would have been required for the days-long equivalent transatlantic journey by ship only 50 years ago.
I'll find #patience and #gratitude that it's merely hours.
