First, as a content creator you should above all own your intellectual property!

Second, you should not be dependent on a third party and their platform to get paid for attracting visitors to your content.

Third, your content should be published on your own website and shared elsewhere — to direct visitors to your site, where your rules apply.

Complaining about being willingly owned by a greedy company is pointless. 😉

I optimized the old post into this newer version and also added a few hashtags for better visibility in the Fediverse.
