Siouxie and the Banshees - Dear Prudence (1984) #musiquinta
O grande desafio da musiquinta é escolher uma música só: aquela q vai de fato entrar na playlist. O punk e suas vertentes, ao longo das décadas, parece ter feito um esforço pra atualizar (e melhorar COF COF) toda e qualquer música que estava dando bobeira por aí. Os Ramones tem um álbum só de covers. O Tim Timebomb (Armstrong) fez uma discografia inteira. Por aqui, o Ratos tem o Feijoada Acidente, fazendo covers de outras bandas punks - com direito a versão nacional e internacional. E as bandas de ska então, nem abertura de desenho animado escapa de virar cover.
Como uma provocação ao mexer no que já é considerado obra prima, no fundo fazem uma tremenda homenagem a clássicos indiscutíveis (e algumas pérolas menos conhecidas).
E é nessa pegada que vou deixar a minha indicação (que nem é tão porradona assim) desse cover maravilhoso de Dear Prudence dos Beatles:
