finished watching Star Odyssey 🌗🌑🌑🌑🌑
Far too long and absolutely terrible, but at least parts had the awful fascination of a car crash or an itchy scab.

Poor script, acting, directing, sound. Not even Palance's scenery-chewing could save it for me.

As someone posted in the #MonsterMiru watch party after #Monsterdon, a Conan rip-off but a cut above every other Conan rip-off.
wants to watch House of Flying Daggers
Can't remember if I've seen this or if I'm conflating it with another film.
finished watching Hudson Hawk 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑
Has moments & potential (the folks behind Heathers and I LOVE Heathers) yet it doesn't really make it all work.

finished watching Barry 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
Just finished the series. There’s a good dramedy in here but there are times where it wants to be taken 100% seriously and it doesn’t feel earned.
Having said that, there are interesting character stories and ideas throughout. The characters are fully fleshed out and believable.
There are also funny moments, some decent suspense, and some interesting direction. There’s a specific long shot in one of the last episodes that was so well done I skipped back to watch it again.
finished watching Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑
Has its moments.

Long stretch of nothing much, then got mildly entertaining towards the end. Thank goodness for the #MondayActionMovie watch party gang who got me through it!
