i also don't seem to be able to follow my #NeoDB account from my #GoToSocial instance, not sure if anyone else has had luck with that or which end i should file a bug report on
normally I don’t display link preview images that don’t have alt text because they’re usually useless anyway, but I’m making an exception for posts originating from #NeoDB

finished watching The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑
A rather limp affair, a mash-up of every orphan tale ever made with some "light plagiarism" of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Fortunately, made bearable by the folks in the #MondayActionMovie watch party on Mastodon.

I can sort of see why it hasn't entered the canon of comedy, despite some funny moments.

finished watching Jaws: The Revenge 🌕🌑🌑🌑🌑
Weird telepathic curse shark film with baffling ending (depending on which edit you see), & Michael Caine
Watched in #FridayThrillerClub watch party on Mastodon.
wants to watch Manhunt
Because: "Manhunt is a John Woo movie like he used to make ‘em, before his US period including Face/Off and Mission: Impossible 2..."
finished watching The Swift Sword 🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑
I've dealt with some confusing plots in kung fu films, but way too often in this I found myself thinking "who the hell are these people and what the hell is going on???"
