This morning I knew this chrysalis was about to be ready. Went for an hour for a walk, came back, and there is a new Monarch 🦋 😍. Still has to let the wings dry and unfold.
Always in wonder how this large butterfly fits into the small bag.

El Capitan

El Capitan is one of the first landmarks that you will see as you drive into Yosemite Valley. This granite wall rises 3,000 feet off of the valley floor and is truly a sight to see. From the valley floor El Capitan is visible as you enter into the park and is prominently displayed to see from most points in the valley.
I love sitting below this monolith trying to spot climbers.

I had to rescue a baby rabbit trapped in our garden fence. Hopefully the little guy gets back to his group. I put him within sight of 6 other rabbits. It was hard convincing Ellie not to touch it but human scent would mark it so I used beekeeping gloves that smell like everything but humans.

Múlafossur, one of the most known waterfalls from the Faroe Islands, it's probably been photographed a million times, and it is hard to change the composition much, there is more or less just one place to stand. I have used a semi slow shutter speed, to create the effect on the water.

I was just photographing this beautiful butterfly caterpillar on the little-traveled road when someone tapped me on the shoulder and quietly said, "Look over there!"
Had we not stopped for the caterpillar, we would have been very close...

Ça faisait 2-3 semaines que je bidouillais cet oiseau, et je pense qu'il est enfin terminé. J'ai dû m'y reprendre à deux fois pour les ailes, à un moment j'ai cru que c'était fichu. J'ai hésité à le mettre en couleur, puis j'ai hésité entre aquarelle et crayon de couleur, puis il était plus temps d'hésiter, c'était fait.
