So the reality is I am going to need to move. Not too soon just yet, but my home life is incredibly unstable and my job prospects where I live is frankly bleak. The politics where I live is also extremely trans hostile and dangerous. I live in one of the most deeply republican states in the country where various parts of the state government have decided to directly target and attack trans people like me. So I am going to start fundraising, but I don’t want to exhaust people, so I am not going to hit people up daily but maybe every few weeks or once a month at most. This is a lot of money I fully understand that. I do not expect anyone to give me a lot of money and I figure this is going to take months. This is a goal for a hopefully not too distant future. Also if I think I can mange this on less money I will revise the goal. Thank you very much everyone. this is not urgent, so please help those in more dire need first.
i have a futon mattress that badly needs replacing due to it being a cat piss magnet. i've neutralised the smell, but Buster just keeps peeing on it any time i throw a cover on it and try to use it. it's keeping me from inviting people to come over and using my living room at all. it looks like about $450 should cover it, but if i overshoot, i will give the remaining money to someone who needs it.

Got my first paycheck in just shy of a year yesterday! I can't believe we survived intact! Thank you all so much for helping us through this unbelievably difficult time.
