After a hearty soaking of rain you might find these tiny mushrooms popping up out of twigs and branches on the forest floor.

Their caps are ruffled, looking like a flower with pleated, way edges. The stems are brown/dark red, getting lighter as they get closer to the cap. In the middle of the cap is a light brown circle.
