I’ve been trying to connect #DeltaChat with Miranda NG but the process has me utterly confused and I can’t find any documentation of others having the same issue.
Miranda NG appears not to display QR codes. When I open up the sub menu for Delta Chat and choose the option to enter a QR code to connect to, it only displays a multi line text area. Inside of the native Delta chat apps, on the, add a device screen, there is a more button, and inside of that more button, there is an option to copy a very lengthy string of numbers and symbols and a whole host of other things.
The incredibly lengthy string begins with backup but I thought this would be a viable substitute.
When I copy that string, and try to paste it into Miranda NG the only thing I get in reply is the error sound and nothing happens.
