OMG the Mastodon issue about fetching whole conversation threads finally got completed after 7 years!

Some good news about #Mastodon, there has been a very significant bit of code added which will automatically fetch all the replies in a thread. This means everyone will be able to see a thread's whole conversation no matter which server they are on! 🥳
The code has just been "merged" which means it should become available in the next update to Mastodon, hopefully within the next few months.

https://fantastic.earth is growing, literally. After running on a small 4 GB server for two years, we have recently migrated to a 64 GB server. Now we can host even more services for our members. We currently run these services:

Hey new people, you don't have to use the official Mastodon app! There are lots of other options you can use such as third party apps etc. People who try these alternatives usually prefer them.
Unlike most social networks, Mastodon doesn't impose any particular app on you. You're free to use your account in whatever way works best for you.

The same template will be available as an option to other servers in the upcoming #Mastodon 4.4 update. There are no changes to our policies or operations, just clarifications, e.g. if you upload content to be displayed to other users, you give us permission to display it to other users, but you keep all rights to it.
