I submitted a Pull Request to update MacPorts' LMDB to 1.0.1 here:

GitHub's Continuous Integration checks passed OK.
It's up to someone else to merge it.
No one ever replied to my email to macports-dev re: 1.0.0.
I also see, there's a 0.9.36 release which was tagged around the same time as 1.0.1, so if folks do encounter issues (despite my efforts at being proactive, no one apparently cared enough to chime in to my inquiry?) maybe there is an alternative to submit if such things are experienced!
