I really don’t like gesturing like this. No one really cares that random youths aren’t involved, they care that it’s wrong. Don’t gesture, just say what you think: That it’s wrong. Another example, not from this poster…
Anti-abortion legislators are overwhelmingly men, and they have the audacity to make legislation without women’s input?
Like, I get that it’s a nice retort from time to time, but the real issue is that it’s wrong and evil. Women can be wrong and evil, too, but we shouldn’t then say “well, I guess banning abortion is OK, since it’s a woman enacting it.”
My new alarm is highly effective!
