Hello, my name is [NAME] and I have a (CONCERN/COMPLAINT/ISSUE) with [COMPANY] regarding your policies on (limiting transactions based on the content of goods and services / globally dictating what adults can buy with their own money / restricting independent creators from being able to sustain a living)
Jumping off points:
As an artist
I am a creator who has been impacted by enforcements [COMPANY] has been pushing onto my storefronts (which does not break the law/ that has limited my ability to make a living / making me a casualty of [COMPANY] applying morality to independent purchases)
As a buyer
I'm a consumer who, because of [COMPANY]'s action against a store I use, this has forced the store to deny me access to products I have already purchased. This is really (upsetting/ frustrating/ infuriating) because (well,I paid for them/ nothing was even illegal there/ [COMPANY] shouldnt have the right to dictate what I buy if its not against the law)
As a cardholder
I am concerned about the message [COMPANY] is sending about deciding what I am allowed to spend money on. Your company claims to only limit transactions that lead to harm yet (you have censored stories of people who are survivors of horrendous events / you have taken action against marginalized independent creators for making lgbtq content / there is no such thing as one international law because there are globally conflicting ones and as an American based company, there are no law being broken thanks to freedom of speech.
Things of Note:
They will ask for your name to put a complaint on file. Up to you
They will ask if you have an account with them.If yes, you can say you dont want to share it because of fear of retaliation, with visa, they can ask for first 6 digitsIf no, you can just say you dont use it
they might give a corpo speech, just let them get through it
